Five programs, each built around a specific need.
Everything below is a planned program connected directly to our governing objects. Where a program isn't yet operational, we say so clearly — accuracy matters more to us than sounding bigger than we are.
Safe Handovers
The need
Children can experience significant distress during parental handovers, especially where conflict or tension is present.
The activity
We are working to establish and maintain a neutral, child-focused facility in the Blue Mountains region that can facilitate safe parental handovers.
The relief
A calmer, safer transition point intended to reduce the immediate distress a child may experience around a handover.
Who it's for
Children and families where a neutral, supervised handover environment would genuinely ease a difficult transition.
A Voice for Children
The need
Children experiencing family breakdown often have limited appropriate opportunity to express their needs or views about their own circumstances.
The activity
We intend to provide a child-focused platform through which children and young people can express their needs and opinions regarding their family circumstances. This is not legal representation.
The relief
Children feel heard, and support can be shaped around needs the child has actually expressed.
Who it's for
Children and young people affected by family separation who would benefit from an appropriate, safe way to be heard.
After-School & Holiday Support
The need
Serious family breakdown can disrupt a child’s routine, schooling and sense of stability, particularly after school and during holidays.
The activity
We plan to operate after-school and holiday programs providing educational support, life skills and emotional respite.
The relief
Structured, supportive time that helps steady a child’s routine and gives them a break from strain at home.
Who it's for
School-aged children and young people experiencing disruption connected to family separation or breakdown.
Support for Parents
The need
Children benefit when parents are supported to cooperate, but many parents lack accessible, practical guidance during separation.
The activity
We intend to provide resources and guidance to parents to encourage cooperative co-parenting, where appropriate and consistent with the child’s welfare.
The relief
Reduced conflict exposure for children, and parents better equipped to put their child’s needs first.
Who it's for
Parents and guardians of children affected by separation, where cooperative co-parenting is safe and appropriate.
Respite & Positive Experiences
The need
Children under sustained family stress benefit from positive experiences and relief outside the source of that stress.
The activity
We plan to organise respite trips, excursions and cultural exchange opportunities intended to provide positive external influences and relief.
The relief
Genuine breathing room, positive memories, and connection beyond a difficult home situation.
Who it's for
Children and young people experiencing significant difficulty who would benefit from structured, positive respite experiences.
